A Pink Paw Salute to the PCBC for hosting a Builder-to-Builder Green Forum during its trade show this year. Produced in partnership with West Coast Green, the gathering featured a panel of seven industry pioneers who have been at the forefront of the green building movement. Promotional material said green building has entered the mainstream residential construction market. "New studies suggest that green building can mean high-performance homes with greater market value, reduced builder risks, and greater customer satisfaction." Unfortunately, many builders still think green means extra work, extra costs and niche markets. The forum was intended to set the record straight and encourage more builders to go green.
