Sheinkopf credits the information to Danny Parker, a researcher at the Florida Solar Energy Center, who put together the "12 Great Myths of Improving Residential Efficiency in Hot Climates." FortWayne.com doesn't mention it but the FSEC Website says Sheinkopf is an Associate Director of the Florida Solar Energy Center. A vested interest in solar energy, perhaps, but interesting and educational nonetheless.
