Question: Can I insulate on top of a cement floor?

Corey writes from East Hanover, New Jersey: "I just purchased a house with a closed in front porch that has a cement floor. Is there a way I can insulate on top of the cement floor?"

Answer: You could install rigid FOAMULAR® extruded foam insulation over the concrete floor. When you do that you will need to add a spacer, such as 1 x 6 boards, and then sub floor.
